Ashes being blessed before distribution, Lent, 2014
Our priest had an excellent homily (much of which is here on his blog) on the spiritual warfare that is going on during Lent. Here he is blessing the ashes.

“Woe to me if I should prove myself but a halfhearted soldier in the service of my thorn-crowned Captain.”

Je prierai pour tous dans ma paroisse «Twitter» pendant ce temps de Carême

Pray much for priests and bishops!
